External Keyboard weird typing issue

Hi! I'm new here so I apologize if I posted in the wrong area. I recently got some splitters so I can use my MacBook Pro and my Windows PC at the same desk, and have come across a weird issue with my keyboard. I started typing and noticed a weird thing it did, and I figured out if I type slow it doesn't glitch out. Bbutt. when Ii dodo it ends. u up like. ththhiis. (But when I do it ends up like this) I am using a TeckNet USB Gaming Keyboard that works just fine in Windows but if anyone has any solutions that would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!

(Don't know if it matters but I am using Catalina with 2015 Pro)

After messing around in the settings trying to find something, I found switching my keyboard type to ISO instead of ANSI seems to have fixed the issue.

*update the issue came back and I am not able to reset my keyboard to iso anymore, Mac just brings it to ANSI
