Want something for my partner and I to easily save all our videos and photos from our iPhones and Sony DSLR, as well as storing some folders from MacBook Pros.
Really needs to be something super convenient to use. Ideally not transferring from phones and camera to mac then over to external drive each time.
Also not keen on full auto backups of the MBPs. I just want certain work folders saved when I choose to. Wireless would be awesome too.
Anything out there or am I asking too much?
Also is it really necessary to go for SSD with an external drive? Looks like we can get way more capacity with a 7200 for the money. Would prefer to spend maybe £350 roughly on a good solution. Can try to find something discounted.
