I assumed the lack of the jack wouldn't affect me, but unfortunately I realized that it will. I shoot many of my review videos with the Rode VideoMic Me, which conveniently attaches to my phone. Even with the adapter, I don't think I will be able to secure it on my 7+. I love the mic, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to make it work with the new phones, I'd love to hear it.

This is my first initial thought to use this. The wire adapter should be long enough. If I find a better solution, I'll let you know it here.
