Searching around this forum, I've seen a lot of people compare the resolution differences between 20'' and 22'' monitors. There are various forum members who seem to think that a 22'' screen with a 1680 resolution tend to look blurry on Mac OS. Since 1680 is the native resolution for a 20'' screen, I'm thinking about just sticking with a 20'' external monitor for my next purchase. Does anyone here have an experience with 22' monitors using only 1680 (not 1920) resolution? From what I've read, the more desirable 22'' monitors should have a 1920 native resolution (similar to 24'' monitors)

I know I want either a 20'' or 22'' monitor, but I won't put up with blurry text if a 22'' monitor looks worse than a 20'' one. Please post your experiences!

I had a Samsung 2232BW for about year. No problems with it. Im a college student and wrote a lot of papers using it. No blurry text, almost as clear as my macbook pro's screen.

What resolution are you using? 1680 or 1920?

As long as you're using the native resolution for the display, it shouldn't look blurry.
