External Monitor -- all the windows are wobbly / shaking

Hey everyone,

I plugged in my external Samsung 22'' monitor into my macbook to use as an external monitor, and have it set at its natural resolution at 1680 x 1050 with 60hz -- but sometimes randomly the windows will be all wobbly / shaking sometimes it's very subtle and sometimes it's really bad!

I have it connected via the official DVI -> VGA Adapter, then connected into a KVM Switch box. This doesn't happen when I use my monitor on Windows or on my Xbox 360.

Anyone have any idea of what I should try?

Does it happen when you connect directly to the monitor using DVI?

looks like that fixed it! Didn't really think about trying that... It's not a big deal to use DVI port for the mac... thanks
