Hello,

I'm trying to connect an external display (Asus MX279H) to a MBA purchased earlier this year but I'm running into some issues (connection via HDMI and HDMI to USB dongle). When connected, the external display gets this yellow hue. I've calibrated the colors in settings and set the monitor to RGB - when changing the profile in display settings, the screen will go back to normal but when I move the mouse via trackpad, it turns yellow again. There aren't many more settings to work with in MacOS. I've connected the monitor to 2 different PCs and the display is normal.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? It's always frustrating connecting external stuff to Macs but I'm hoping I don't have to buy a new monitor.
