I'm looking for suggestions and solutions to a few requirements, any help greatly appreciated:
1. My MB has Thunderbolt 2, so I need a monitor compatible with this port
2. Do I have any charging options? (I know Thunderbolt 2 doesn't supply power, but are there monitors with Magsafe 2 output?)
3. I have to use a Windows laptop for work, it has USB C, so ideally a monitor that can charge and display USB C as well
4. Is there a limit on what resolution I should aim for? i.e. will my MB start to choke at higher resolutions?
5. EDIT - Ideally an option to mount on a wall in the future
6. Nice to have would be other outputs (USB C, A etc for Time Machine drives, keyboard, mouse etc)
EDIT2 - Would I be better getting a Thunderbolt dock and a Thunderbolt 2 to 3 cable for my MB Pro? This would give me more options for connecting to monitors.
