I am looking to get an external monitor (either 17" or 19") for my Al Powerbook.

Given that the notebook has a widescreen aspect ratio, is there any issue with getting a conventional-aspect monitor? (In looking around the 'net, there appears to be relatively few widescreen monitors available, despite this becoming the standard display for notebooks.

Thanks!

I think that widescreen displays are more comfort for work, but tastes differ ;)

Having just gone to the 20" iMac, I can say that I miss the extra screen height from my Dell FP2001. Still weighing doing the spanning hack for the Dell.

NO, NO, NO. The spanning hack is evil. Terribly evil.

How much do you want for the dell???

:D
