External Monitor not sleeping when lid is closed

It's strange, never saw a m1 Mac with hard disk. How does the option to put the disk to sleep apear in the settings?

Was this ever resolved? my m1 max sleeps on my odyssey G9 but when hooked up to a different 32in samsung (lid close) the monitor goes dark but the macbook actually never sleeps
