I recently got the new 13" MBP and just got the mini displayport to vga adapter to hook up my 24" Hyundai N240W Monitor. Everything works fine except for one thing, the resolution. In the display settings it only has 4:3 resolutions so i've currently got it on 1600x1200. I've been using this monitor with my windows desktop for over a year on full 1920x1200 resolution and it's been working perfectly. Ive tried hooking it back up to the desktop and it works fine again so im guessing the problem is with OSX. any suggestions?

Does it have any other inputs? VGA is ancient and if it has something else (DVI), then use that instead. It should still work but I don't know why it doesn't. DVI is digital though so it provides better quality.
