I've been looking all over the internet, but can't seem to find a solution to
my second monitor turned pink. I've tried all different cords and swapped monitors. Same results every time. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? thanks

Since you've replaced the cable it's either the port on your computer or the monitor is duff. Try a different video source before you replace the monitor.

tried a different video source.. the monitors fine, it's definitely the iMac giving it the pink color

Did you do anything to the system around the time it turned pink?

Have you checked the Color Profile in use in Display preferences?

iMac second monitor pink

I know it's a year on, but I am having exactly the same problem with my mid 2011 iMac 21.5 and my 23inch Cinema Display.

The Cinema display works perfectly with mi MacBook, and I've tried re-attaching the monitor cable, but it's a perfect fit.

Did the problem ever get resolved, as it's giving me a headache !
Thanks

I'm wondering if the iMac is sending an SRGB signal? My Eizo monitor goes pink when I set it (the Eizo) to YCbCr.

Maybe something here will help you;
