After connecting the M1 MacBook Pro to a LG Oled monitor, I have a couple of issues:

1. Monitor intermittently goes blank and needs a key press to wake up
2. Top menu-bar not visible. Bottom dock slightly cut off at the bottom but still usable

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

Thanks - I tried connecting by a HDMI cable instead of 'HDMI 2.1 - thunderbolt 4 cable' and the problem goes away. Can't get more than 60Hz though

Trying BetterDummy I get stuck. The instructions state that one should activate mirroring, then set the dummy display as the main display. As soon as I try this, it either reverts to setting the LG as main display or the screen goes blank.

Would be nice to have a 120Hz solution...
