Hey everyone, I decided to give my late 2006 White MacBook a little more screen real-estate, so I went out & bought myself a Mini DVI to VGA adapter, have plugged multiple monitors in & all have had the same outcome.
The monitor is recognised by OS X (see pic) & if I move my mouse over to the left it disappears onto 'the second display'.
However, I constantly get the no signal, or check video cable message on the external display, regardless of the monitor/cable configuration I have.
I have tried booting up into safe mode, doing the Command-Option etc. method on startup to no avail.
