External Monitor Size Limit for Late 2006 MB

I'm thinking about purchasing a 24" monitor for my late 2006 MB. Will the MB have enough computer power to run a monitor of this size, especially if I watch HD? Thanks in advance for your help--

I have heard of Mac Minis with the Intel GMA 950 (the same graphics card as yours) being used as a media centre with HD video. So I guess yours would be fine. And you are limited to monitors with a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 when using DVI.

No. The MacBook has a Mini DVI port that can be adapted into many different ports. When using DVI, the maximum resolution the Mini DVI port can handle is 1920x1200.
