However I google this they give me the simple answer of just looking on highest screen resolution listed to see what's right.
I have a mbp and work a lot with two monitors, recently I had to swap down my 26" Sony for a 22" olevia. Problem is, the resolution feels out of place. The screen is suppose to be 1080p, but where my Sony used to be razor sharp on text and so on, it's all fuzzy and slightly pixelated. At 720p it looks better but still not great.
Is there a possibility for me to "ping" the hardware to get native resolution? And if it tells me it is 1080 actually, what's wrong with my mbp/screen?
