Hi

I have a 4 year old MacBook Pro which is serving me well. Recently though, I've had some problems regarding WiFi where the computer would drop the connection with my router and only allow to reconnect after a restart.

From a Google search I found out it was due to a faulty network card in the machine. Since there's no way I'm going to pay for a workshop to replace it, but a laptop without WiFi isn't ideal either, I have thought of another solution.

I would like to buy an external network card, prefereably one of those USB-dongles tiny enough to be left plugged in when carried around. Now, since I'm no computer genius I would like to ask you guys if you could recommend any of these. I would definately weigh size over speed since I don't need anything more than a basic stable connection.
