External Network drive wake from sleep issue

Hello Feel free to move this post if in the wrong place.
I have a OWC Mercury Elite Pro duel set up as RAID 1 with 2 3TB drives connected to a Airport Tower via USB 3.0.

Issue is when it sleeps the disk is still mounted on desktop but will not wake. Pretty much need to unplug drive from router then it will work until it sleeps again.
