External RAID drive and Backup Solution for MacBook Pro based Audio Workstation

Can you comment on the effectiveness of this solution, or whether it will work at all?

2008 17 inch Macbook Pro

Sonnet Pro eSata ExpressCard
1 X eSata Lacie 4big Quadra 2TB Drive RAID0 for audio and samples
1 X eSata Backup Drive: Lacie 2BIG Quadra RAID1 2TB
SuperSuper Backup Software

Is there any issue connecting both the backup drive and my samples drive to the Sonnet Pro Card assuming my backups are done ?
