External Screen staying off when Resuming From Sleep

I have an external keyboard/mouse/monitor hooked into my latest generation MBP.

Last night I forgot to turn my computer off so it went into sleep. When I pushed a keyboard button, the computer resumed (sleep light turned constant) but the external screen would not come on. I opened the MBP lid and the MBP's screen would not turn on.


This happens every once in a while, especially if the computer was in sleep for a while.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try to restart your MBP
