is there an external soundcard option for mac's? i have logitech z-2300's and when i had them hooked up to my pc with a simple soundblaster external xfi card it sounded much cleaner. any suggestions? anything thanks

Just about any external USB sound card will work on a mac. However, the quality might not be all that much better than the built in sound.

I have an old griffin imic and cheap as it is, it's already much better than the output on my macbook.

It means (I think) you should connect the audio output on your MacBook to a device that will process the sound itself before sending it out to your speakers.

so slap an amp on there? hmmmm very temping there is an extra home theater amp at home
