External Soundcard for Headphone Monitoring (MacBook)

Hey, I'm just wondering how I should go about getting an external soundcard so I can have a monitor in my headphones for when I use Ableton Live on my MacBook.

There is a tutorial I can pay for online to help me, but I was just wondering if anyone else would be able to assist me!
