I'm looking to buy an external soundcard for my Mac, to use with Traktor DJ Studio - so I have a seperate audio output for cueing tracks.
The ones I'm looking at though don't seem to mention OS X - and I can't really find much about them:

I'm not too bothered about the sound quality - I'd probably only use it for a headphone output, and leave the main audio coming out of the built-in sound.
Does anyone know if those two would work, or are there any others that are recommended?

Bit out of my price range, that :D
I'm only looking to spend under £75 at the most (around $130).

Even though they're 5.1 - they should still work for 2-channel, I'd imagine?

I have an M-Audio Transit on one of my Minis for 5.1 sound. It works fine, has OSX drivers and will work in stereo. I've never tried using it as a second output as you are describing though...

See thats the rub. I dont think that you can use the headphone out on the interface that you mentioned as a means of pre-cuing another audio source. Basically andysmith needs an interface that will allow for a separate headphone mix.

Well Traktor can select a different audio device for its output:

So I presume, as long as OS X saw it, it would appear there.

Ooh brilliant - I didn't know the iMic had an output too.
It'll also come in useful for my partner's iBook as a line-in.

Cheers :)
