I want to get 5.1 audio from my new Air (1,8 ssd) when I watch movies.
Can anyone recommend a good external usb soundcard with optical digital out, that I can connect to my receiver.
I have tried the M-Audio Transit USB, but it only works if it is connected directly to the usb-port. I want to connect via an usb-hub.
I am thinking of trying the E-mu 0404 usb. Anyone knows if this works through an usb-hub?
Now with the nvidia graphics with hardware decoding of h.264, I think the Air will be a great little htpc, if I can solve the audio-part.
