how do i adjust the balance on my bose external speakers? I have them plugged into the back of my mac mini and can't seem to find how to adjust them other than the sound level. New to Apple.

I'm using OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, so it might be slightly different if you're using OS X 10.7 Lion or OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion:

Click on the Apple menu in the upper left corner
Scroll down and select System Preferences
Click on the Sound icon
Click on the Output tab
Adjust Balance with slider
