Hi all,

Will I be able to achieve TB2 10gbit/s speed by connecting Thunderbolt 2 (iMac Late 2015) to USB C SSD NVME M.2 enclosure (using the apple thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapter)?

Another doubt I have is whether Thunderbolt 3 (via Apple adapter) can be connected to USB C port of the enclosure and capable of becoming a boot drive.

Hope to use it as an external boot drive for MACOS and possibly Bootcamp it too.

You should see speeds that are significantly faster than USB3, but I'm not sure just how fast those speeds will be.

I don't see any problems with booting from an external drive using Tbolt3, so long as the drive enclosure supports it. That's probably going to be "the key factor".

Someone else just posted over in the Mac Mini forums about this, and I'll refer you to that thread:

This poster would be "the person with the answers" to ask... ;)

No. The apple adapter only supports Thunderbolt devices.
