External Thunderbolt SSD suggestion?

Hi all,
i'm looking into external SSD Thunderbolt suggestions.

Ideal sizing would be around the 256gb mark, i'll be using it to store and stream some big sample libraries for music production.

Anyone has some good options top of their mind? For the moment i'll be using the internal Fusion drive, but that will very likely be a bottleneck i'll need to go around (i'm currently using 3 different 7200 HDDs in my old MacPro).

I read of people using the Seagate GoFlex Thunderbolt adapter, buying a SSD separately and connecting them together. I would look into that.
