Hey guys,

I am a returning mac user. I haven't used mac since 1990 and I just got a shiny new mac book pro. I need to get an external tv card for it so I can watch tv and record video from analog. Any suggestions?

I also use the EyeTV. I have the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid. Its a USB 2.0 Dongle with a coaxial end on it. It comes with the EyeTV software that will accept digital and analog signals. It will also record TV as its coming in. It will also hook up to things like Xboxes and PS2, etc. I have my PS2 hooked up to it and it works great! There's a European version as well if you live in Europe. It retails for about $149 (USD) and is worth every penny IMO.

It has a separate dongle that connects to the USB 2 dongle that has the Composite Audio and Video inputs. Thats how I connect my PS2.
