Hi,

I have an External USB 2TB drive which has two partitions. One called Backup and the other called Media.

Up till about an hour ago everything was fine. I then got this message in OS X saying a drive had been removed. I noticed then that the "media" partition had disappeared but the "backup" partition remained so the drive is working as such I just can't see this other drive.

I looked in disk utility and it just shows the one partition. The same if I go to /volumes. I have tried the drive in two different macs.

In disk utility it still shows that there is only 18gb free, which makes sense and would indicate the data in the media partition is still there... somewhere.....

Can anyone advise a way I can get the partition back?... I really hope I haven't lost it.....
