External USB storage missing at first boot!

Hi,
Just got my MM 2018, and I seem having this issue when I turn on the mm, it won't recognise my USB external storage. I have to unplug and plug in back the the USB port then the external usb storage appear. Anyone encounter this issue? Any work around? Thanks.
 
Ok, managed to get another external usb SSD storage to test, it seem my old external USB storage is faulty. I guess I solved my own problem :p
