I have just bought a Western Digital 750gb Ex drive. for my oldish G4 firewire400.
It all works fine but I cant figure how to set it up so that it comes to life and shows on the desk top when I boot up my mac. I seem to have to switch of the external drive, then back on again for it to be viewable on my desktop.
I have it connected via USB2 currently. I was expecting it to almost act like an internal drive
Any advice appreciated.
