Due to the horrible design decision to cripple the supplied power to the TB5, and USB ports?
I am looking for EXTERNALLY POWERED nvme enclosures.
Not finding any...

Would a TB5 docking station be able to perform this?
I am thinking Caldigit TS5 Plus?

@buggz Yes, if you need an ethernet port at 10GbE that Caldigit dock is an excellent choice, or if you need 140W charging for a laptop. It also has more USB 3.x ports than other docks.

But if you don't need something with up to 20 external ports, then Caldigit's cheaper TS5 dock or Element 5 hub will do the same job of providing power to external SSD enclosures.

Or you could buy a TB5 dock (externally powered) that contains M.2 SSD storage internally:

Thanks, I llok into the other solutions.
My goal is to have more 2 nvme/ssd drives on the system.
