For the last year, I've been subscribing to Paramount Plus as an add-on to my ATV+. I notice taht several of my new TV shows, such as George & Mandy's First Marriage, are now charging per episode in addition to the $12.99 subscription. So I cancelled my Paramount Plus within ATV+ and re-subscribed through Paramount's own app. Presto - the extra charges went away. So folks, if you're an ATV+ subscriber, do not add other streaming subscriptions through Apple's app. Sign up directly with each streamer using their own app. Don't pay the steep extra price for that single-search convenience.

sometimes the TV app forgets where you usually watch something. Particularly when a new season comes out. (not sure if channels get affected by this or not)
It was probably sending you to the store, instead of the paramount channel in the aTV app

Go to an episode detail view and scroll down, and choose the correct place to open in.

I had Hulu through the disney+app. and it would regularly try to make me download the Hulu app. and occasionally try to get me to purchase.

Even if you use each service's app, you can still search them using the TV app, or using Siri. they'll also show up in the up next section of the home page in the TV app. The app usually defaults to the aTV page, where those other apps won't show up.

One notable exception to this is Netflix, it won't show up in the TV app, But the vast majority of the streaming services do.
