extra chip in nehalem mac pro

I'm sure its been asked before guys but i was wondering if I get the single processor nehalem mac pro can I at a later date put in a extra processor to upgrrde it to an 8 core machine?

Different boards in the Octo and the Quad. Unlike the old days there isn't an empty socket just sitting there for you to drop another chip in.

I suppose if you could find someone selling spare parts you could maybe swap out the processor tray?.?

Actually the logic board is the same. There are different CPU/RAM trays. Its still a major expense.
