Hello,

i have 2 Quadro 4000s running in my mac pro, together with an apple fibre card and a ATTO R380, it is smoking hot in there i am very scared something is going to melt. Any advice on extra cooling options?

Its really almost burning! Any ideas, tools etc?

Thanks
Ben

Not really necessary.
The Pro's cooling system is absolutely capable of handling 4 extension cards. I've got 3 in mine and the PCIe section fan automatically increased its speed with the additional cards. Yours should do the same.
If it doesn't, than there's something wrong with your SMC.

Please provide us a little more information about fan speeds and temperatures.
