I move my iMac from my work area to my studio when shooting so I can tether my camera to it and see my photos instantly. My problem is I just reorganized all my wires and mounted a lot of things under my desk. It would be a hassle to get the power cord out every time. I looked at the apple website but could not find it. Do they sell them in stores? FYI I have a 2011 27" iMac

Intell iMac power cords are just regular computer power cords. You probably have a few from older computers already. If not, they are very cheap.

If you have an Apple Store close, they can order one for you. It is a part that doesn't need to be exchanged for the old one.

applecomponents.com will have them as well....
