Hello everyone.

I was using Disk Utility with the debug menu enabled so I could see all partitions and I noticed a few extras. One is a partition of my Mac HD as you can see and the other is part of the external HD I use as a time machine.

Are these supposed to be there? If not, how can I safely get rid of them? I am just now getting my MacBook back to normal after another partition wouldn't go away and I was unable to get the full capacity of my hard drive back.

Thanks all.

That is normal behaviour and the disk identifier, which you just made visible via the Debug Mode. It is a 200 MB partition containing valuable partition data, thus it shan't be deleted. Just leave it as it is, as it is important for firmware and such.

As you can see in this screenshot, I have that too:

Thank you for the swift reply! I can relax and enjoy my Mac again :D
