Extra Ram in 27", need to be any particular order?

I've just brought 2 x 2GB ram modules to add to my 27" 4GB system.
My thought is should I install the Ram in any particular configuration?

ie I will be using 2 different types of ram, 2 x Original modules and 2 x new. Should they be matched and in any particular slots.... or am I hung up on my old PC days!?!?!

Just put them into the free slots, no need to think about matching them somehow
