Extract Audio out of either DVD or .m4v

Trying to include the director's commentary for a movie but instead of embedding the audio file with the main movie - they made a video with just the director's commentary.

So I would like to extract out the AAC file then add it into the actual movie with Subler but for the life of me I can't figure out how to extract just the audio portion.

Finally figured it out - Quicktime 7 pro to the rescue.
