Full disclosure-I am not trying to, nor am I advocating to do this. I am asking about the technical abilities of doing this act.
I work in an IT department. We are evaluating our mobile device policy and we were wondering something about how iOS treats Exchange email accounts. Specifically, what happens to attachments that are downloaded. Is there any way to access the attachments on the phone (jailbreaking methods aside)? I know that on Android, the attachments are physically stored on the phone so it could be possible to get to the attachments if the SD card is removed or the phone is connected to a computer.
I tried one app (PhoneView) and was unsuccessful. I just want to know if this is because of a limitation of PhoneView or of iOS.
Thanks
