extracting images from wmv?

hello!


i am working on a project in arch grad school, and i would like to extract still images from a .wmv file. quicktime doesn't open it, and vlc and window's media player doesn't give me the option... any suggestions?

Have you tried simply taking a screen shot (CMD+SHIFT+4, select area)? That might work...I know on Window's it doesn't, but with some players it does.

i would, odd when networked my mac to my pc and try to copy over the file it says i don't have sufficient priviliages. all other files i can copy....


was hoping there was a more direct way to do it...
