In my home I have an Airport Extreme (a/b/g/n) 80 feet from my office. My iPhone was getting a poor signal on wireless-G because there are three walls in between.

I purchased an Airport Express (a/b/g/n) to boost the wireless-G signal and have it plugged-in to my office power outlet. iPhone speeds improved, yay!

Then I found an article that says I can share my Mini's internet with my iPhone. I connected the Airport Express to wireless-N and then ethernet to the Mac Mini and created a network for my iPhone. In other words, my Mini is a router for iPhone.

Curious thing is I restarted and can't get it working again. Also, my speeds are slower with CAT5 plugged into Mini from Airport Express (wireless-N) than just grabbing wireless-N from the Airport Extreme 80 feet away.

Is anyone else having success with their Mini outputting wireless?

Why is the LAN connection from Express to Mini slower than wireless?
