Hello,

I have a problem with Finder. I'm in my home folder and I change the view settings (e.g. choose Arrange by Kind). Then I choose Show View Options and click on Use as defaults. The contents of the home folder is now viewed correctly with the changed settings applied. But when I switch to a different folder (e.g. Documents, Applications, Library, Downloads etc.), this folder keeps its old setting! Any suggestions how to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

I am using the Show View Options panel to set Use as default but it simply doesn't work - it affects only the folder I'm in.

It should affect the folder you're in, and the folders in the folder you're in. It won't affect the folder the folder you're in is in. Got that? :D
