I am getting extremely high latency (5826 last time, but as high as 8XXX) and about 2kbs down and 75kbs up (on edge). WTF why is it so slow?

It's just sitting on my desk, and I'm not even touching it at all

It also seems to not like to connect to my home wifi, and when/if it does, it seems like it is even slower (nothing really loads at all)

I don't know wtf is the problem here, unless I just get ****** att coverage here, which would be funny seeing how their map lists my area as having good 3G (even though I'm not getting any 3g at all).......

I suggest moving to a new home and getting a new job, sound slike service around you is crappy. Or could just be a bad data day and they're down

have you tried setting up as a new phone, helped me last time i had that issue (I couldn't tell you why it worked, it just did.)

nice suggestion, but it doesn't explain why wifi is slow/non-responseive

If I have to go to a store about this, can I go to an ATT store, or does it have to be an apple store?

I also have 5 bars, so I'm don't think its exactly a coverage issue

Do I need to go to a store and see? I'm going to leave my house later and see if I can get better coverage elsewhere, but wanted to see comments

go other places and see if you can replicate the issue. If you can, show to apple store. if you can't replicate it, you have some data overload on your area that AT&T isn't or is aware of.

good luck!
