I've been having Wifi issues ever since installing Monterey. I was trying to figure out what was causing my issues and I seem to have it narrowed down to this. I have 1gbps fiber and all my other devices seem fine however my Macbook Pro is extremely slow. Speed tests only get me around 10Mbps instead of the normal 350-450Mbps I usually get on Wifi. Has anyone found a fix or is this a known issue?

UniFi Dream Machine Pro - Latest firmware and controller

Thanks in advance for any help.

Seems like no matter what I do, the Mac wants to connect to only the 2.4ghz network. This was not the case before.

Have you tried changing the WiFi channel in your router?
WiFi Diagnostics - Option Key + WiFi icon- open the WiFi Diagnostic.
There are Apps (WiFi Explorer light) that may help you choose a channel.

Yes, I have the option of multiple channels and tried a different one. Again though, none of my other devices have issues connecting on the channel I had. It just seems for whatever reason ever since Monterey the laptop only wants to connect to 2.4Ghz instead of 5Ghz.

Only thing else that I can suggest is to checkout the IP address, if it is in the High range ( you have 6 to 8 devices and the IP is xxx.xxx.x.8) try changing it to a Fixed and or lower IP)

been having the same issue since first Monterey release, still exists in the newest release version 12.2.1, very slow wifi
