HI all,

Before I go out and buy a case (el cheapo $30~50 case), thought i might ask here so i dont waste my moneys.

I'm planning on getting a dual harddrive case, so i can put my 500gig in there and my soon to arrive 1tb drive.
Since I need fat32 for at least one drive (1tb), I'll reformat my 500gig to support osx drive format only(what ever it is).
The fat32 drive is used on my ps3, to play my movies off it as media servers/streaming from my macbook is really slow.

My question
1: When i plug the USB into my computer, will 2 drives pop up? or will it be combined?.
2: Would a raid case be better?, I dont want to spend to much money on it.

1) Depends on the enclosure
2) Depends if you want redundancy. RAID is absolutely more expensive, but data is priceless.

What i was looking at, i know the last one has more space.
I'm just wondering how it would work from those that own these devices.
