Eye-fi and iPad

Wondering what one can do with it and what the limitations are with eye-fi sdcard and the iPad? I want to make use of a camera connector. Can the sdcard be used in a way as an extension to the storage on the iPad where apps can be insalled to?

Not exactly sure what I want to do, but curious as to what it can do. What are the possibilities?

It will download your photos you take with your camera straight to your iPad when in direct mode.

That pretty much all you can do with an EyeFi SDCard.
