Eye tracking going haywire + also a AVP owner in Canada

Just wanted to share two things in one instead of two but, the eye tracking is perfect, but unfortunately it seems like my eye condition is playing a role in the eye tracking, my visual keeps going in and out of focus and the AVP is having a hard time capturing it. I guess those notices on their web was fr. I might need Zeiss lenses.

Also as a Canadian, for anyone wanting to get it overseas, it sets up normally, you even get logged in to your Apple iCloud services, however when you go to the App Store it says it's not available, so I guess when it launches in Canada then they'll make the Canadian servers active for it. You can't try their Dinosaur app preinstalled. TV app lets you stream your purchases, you get access to all of Apple Music, all of notes, all of safari iCloud stuff, reminders, calendar, podcasts, news, files, etc. Basically you can't use or download any apps unless you switch accounts. Optic ID works, environments work, mirroring your Mac works.

Not sure what your exact condition is, but you should try some of the accessibility settings. There are options to force eye tracking to only look at one of your eyes for tracking data and some sliders to adjust things related to eye conditions.

Thanks for sharing. Great to hear about the TV app letting you stream your purchases. Do you get access to TV+ content as well? Figured that would be a no?

I didn’t see it as an option, though I think another Canadian here mentioned it works. If I get it I’ll update it here.

If Apple Music works, Apple TV should too, but my current findings is no.

You can use your normal (Canadian in your case) appleID for everything and only use a US one for the store right?

I read online that you can logout of the store only.

Yes, I was able to keep my Canadian iCloud account on, and switch to my United States account for media. Honestly it felt identical to the iPad but more glassy. Although I never ended up switching because they are now forcing me to set up two factor authentication for that account

Ah that’s to bad, i am from The Netherlands so my main ID is Dutch but i have 2fa trough SMS on my us account (To my Dutch cell). Don‘t know if they still offer that.

I forgot there’s two step and two factor. Which made me realize that it strictly says you need two factor to make Mac mirroring work, no wonder why it forced me to upgrade my secondary account
