eye tv 250 plus problem

I just jot my 250 Plus Today. I was able to set it up ok-it installed fine, it got the channel lineup. But for some reason when I try to change channels, the channel will change but the image will not. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it. The eyetv is running on from out comcast cable set-top box via a splitter. I was able to get it to change channels between 2-81 but all channels above i get no picture change.

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that the EyeTV 250 Plus coaxial input only recognizes UHF/VHF which might be the source of your problems. If you are trying to connect your cable box to your mac via EyeTV, I'd suggest trying to use the composite output from your cable box to the EyeTV unit. That should work fine.

The coaxial input is really only meant to receive OTA signals.
