EyeConnect streaming

I'm trying to use EyeConnect to stream music from my MacBook Pro to my PS3. The problem I keep having is that the songs will get about a min and a half into the track then skip to the next track. I have this software on two computers and they both do it.

Is the problem:

a) The software

b) The MacBooks

c) The PS3

As I don't know where else to post this as it may involve one of three companies. I was hoping that someone on the digital audio forum would have some experience with this particular setup.

same problem

You know I've been scouring the net for a month trying to find someone with either the same problem or who knows what it is but nobody seems to know! Although mine doesn't play 1 min 30 seconds, it is usually about 30 seconds, or a minute at most. Are you using an AiportExtreme? I have my PS3 etherplugged into the Airport and my MacBook Pro on the wireless.

I have noticed that movies seem to work though

Please post back if ya find anything else out and I will do the same!

Some people I notice are saying that the media streaming on the PS3 is useless since update 1.8 I think so maybe it is Sony's fault.
