Hi there,

Recently my Mac has slowed down a bit and I've noticed that there is a process running by the name of 'EyeConnect'. I once had EyeTV installed on my Mac, but got rid of it with AppZapper because I sent my TV tuner hardware back because it was faulty.

So anyway, I think EyeConnect is something to do with EyeTV, well, I'm pretty sure anyway. AppZapper didn't take EyeConnect with EyeTV and EyeConnect is really annoying because everytime I check Activity Monitor, this 'EyeConnect' is using up around 200MB of ram. It's not in my login items under my account settings, so I don't know how to get rid of it and stop it starting when I login.

Any help?
Thanks,
Nick.

Try deleting this folder:

/Library/Application Support/EyeConnect/

Here are more files that are installed with EyeTV.
